Brian began his career in the financial services industry in 1999. As the Founder & Owner of RockWay Wealth Partners, he views and operates the company like a client’s partner. He works with businesses & organizations, owners, individuals, and families. Brian’s primary specialty is Retirement Plans & Benefits for businesses, organizations, and owners. With his leadership and oversight, RockWay provides a multidimensional approach to Retirement Plans & Wealth Management.
Brian is a C(k)P® Certified 401(k) Professional. The C(k)P® is earned from TRAU® - The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. The C(k)P® recognizes a combination of substantial practical retirement plan management experience, the completion of a comprehensive and highly specialized educational program, and an agreement to adhere to a code of conduct & ethical core values of integrity, diligence, fairness, and objectivity.
He also holds the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, CPFA®, professional designation, demonstrating knowledge & expertise in working with Retirement Plans and the ability to help plan fiduciaries manage their roles & responsibilities.
Brian also served for many years in the Iowa Air National Guard and US Air Force part-time. He was a pilot of the KC-135 Air Refueling tanker jet. He is thankful to have had the opportunity to serve our country, travel the world, and experience many different cultures. His dedication to helping others and strong attention to detail worked well for him in his military career and translates perfectly in his business career.
Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, he currently resides in the western suburbs of Des Moines, with his wife and their children. Outside of family time and events, his main personal interests are his faith, watching his alma mater the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Chicago Cubs, playing golf, traveling, and live music.
