Certified 401(k) Plan Fiduciary Designation

The C(k)PF Designation is used to distinguish professionals who have completed the C(k)PF Designation Examination, which tests many areas of expertise in retirement plan benefits.

Individuals holding the C(k)PF Designation have obtained an expertise in retirement plan design, operation, and understanding of fiduciary obligations along with a comprehension of many techniques which improve plan outcomes.

The C(k)PF Designation is the most comprehensive retirement plan certification program for business owners, benefits specialists, or other employer fiduciaries. This Designation is designed for persons charged with the responsibility of company retirement plan oversight who wish to increase their knowledge base.

Each C(k)PF Designation Candidate is required to attend a half-day TPSU training program conducted by a certified instructor.

Additionally, within 12 months of attending a live TPSU training program, each C(k)PF Designation Candidate must complete the required online courses housed on the TPSU Learning Management System (LMS), and pass an online proctored examination to earn the C(k)PF designation.
