Ryan joined Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) in 2012 and became a Principal in 2016. Ryan has over 18 years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MMA, Ryan spent 9 years with Deloitte Consulting serving corporate and government clients across the country.

Ryan has established a reputation for expertise in the areas of fiduciary best practice, plan governance, investment due diligence, benchmarking, negotiations, and comprehensive employee education programs. As a recognized retirement plan expert, Ryan has been a featured speaker and panelist at many retirement plan conferences as well as seminars and broadcasts throughout the country. Topics have included effective plan design, trends in behavioral finance and effective employee engagement. Ryan is an active member of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) and sits on advisory councils for major retirement plan providers.

Ryan earned a B.S. in Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA. He is a Certified Financial PlannerTM, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst. Ryan also holds a Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses through FINRA and Life & Variable licenses with the California Department of Insurance.
